Ohnoez, she's having one of her hair-brained ideas again!

So, in brief, here is the story: I just found today (at work, no less!) a free-for-the-taking vintage edition of The Joy of Sex. There is no end to how amused I am by this. And, honest-to-goodness my first thought was, "How can I use this for ficcing purposes?"

Well, the answer is right here.

Reply to this post and I will flip to a random page in the book and give you something off that page as a prompt. As of right now, I won't be handing out any more prompts, lest this become a full-time job for me. I've got two more folks who I need to get prompts to (later this afternoon) and if you've already been prompted please feel free to post your commentfic any time. It's been a lot of fun, guys! Maybe some time I'll dust this off and we'll do it again. Especially gratifying to me have been the number of people who've said they've never written in this fandom before, or haven't written in a very long time. Writing is fun! I'm glad we can share our hobby in such good spirits.

What's a tenzo?
Funnily enough, it has nothing to do with the Tenth Doctor. A tenzo is the head cook in a Buddhist monastery. It's a position I've held, and an old internet handle from Days of Yore. I dusted it off for use in my shiny new fandom, and here we are.
